Overview

The StateRAMP Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting a range of marketing initiatives aimed at promoting cybersecurity awareness and risk management in the public sector. This role is an excellent opportunity for a current student or recent graduate to build practical marketing skills and contribute to impactful projects within a fast-growing organization. Working closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, the Marketing Intern will assist in creating, monitoring, and analyzing content across various digital platforms. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and scheduling of social media content that aligns with StateRAMP’s brand voice.
  • Support content creation for newsletters, blog posts, and event promotions, contributing fresh ideas and ensuring content consistency.
  • Help monitor social media channels and website metrics, compiling data and insights into regular reports for the marketing team.
  • Collaborate on graphics and visual assets to enhance digital campaigns and social media posts.
  • Provide logistical support for events, including coordination and preparation of marketing materials.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to assist with content development and strategic planning.

Qualifications

 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or recent graduate).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter) and a basic understanding of marketing metrics.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to learning and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and manage multiple assignments effectively.
