The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting StateRAMP’s marketing initiatives, focusing on campaign execution, content creation, and analytics to drive brand awareness and support our mission in cybersecurity and public sector risk management. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Support content development for newsletters, blog posts, social media, and event materials, ensuring consistency with StateRAMP’s brand voice and objectives.
  • Conduct basic SEO research and apply best practices to optimize content and improve StateRAMP’s online visibility.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics (e.g., social media engagement, email open rates, web traffic) to measure campaign success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to implement graphics and visual content across digital platforms.
  • Provide support for event planning, coordination, and logistics as needed.

Qualifications

  • Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create clear and engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing analytics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Brand Marketing Manager – StateRAMP

This position provides exposure to various aspects of marketing within the cybersecurity and government sectors, with opportunities to develop skills in digital strategy, analytics, and content development. Successful performance in this role may lead to expanded responsibilities within StateRAMP’s marketing team.
