Overview

Knowledge Services is seeking an Employee Relations Coordinator to join our team in our Indianapolis, IN Headquarters! This role requires a creative problem solver with a smile. The Employee Relations Coordinator is the direct link to our contract employees working on-site at our client locations. They receive their pay check from us, but work at another location. They need to feel a direct connection back to us and this role provides the levels of great service to ensure everything runs smoothly for them while working assignments at a client site.

 

The Employee Relations Coordinator is responsible for all client and employee service aspects, issue resolution, and compliance risk mitigation. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing accurate and timely responses in a professional manner. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Handle the FMLA leave administration process in partnership with the HR Team.  
  • Conduct exit interviews and document feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.  
  • Partner with managers to coach and counsel employees on work performance issues 
  • Follows and implements progressive discipline procedures.  
  • Maintaining a database of employee information, such as personnel files and hiring records  
  • Managing employee records and payroll functions, including tracking time worked and updating personnel records.  
  • Manage and conduct employee relations, recognition, morale, and retention programs.  
  • Recommend solutions to any employment-related issues raised by clients and temporary Employees, as well as review processes on an ongoing basis to identify proactive ways to improve efficiencies.  
  • Visit the client location within a designated region in the State of Indiana.  

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in client facing and/or similar professional environment 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. 
  • Ability to travel to a designated region of Indiana 1-2 days per week
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
