The Engagement Manager plays a key service delivery and relationship management role with a complex program. This position requires is a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to oversee the delivery assurance of security assessments for state government agencies. This role is crucial in ensuring that all security assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively, and that the results are communicated to a central authority in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Delivery Assurance: Ensure that all security assessments are completed on schedule and meet the required standards of quality and accuracy.
• Coordination: Work closely with state government agencies to coordinate the scheduling and execution of security assessments. Work closely with the internal Program Management Office analysts and leadership to address any delivery challenges and produce work product.
• Reporting: Compile and present detailed reports on the findings of security assessments to a central authority, ensuring that all relevant information is clearly communicated.
• Compliance: Ensure that all security assessments comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including state government officials and central authority representatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the processes and methodologies used in security assessments.
Engagement Manager Preferred Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred with experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in engagement management or program management.
• Experience with public sector preferred.
• Experience with information security and security assessments is preferred, but not required.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar desired but not required.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience developing and delivering presentations required.
