The Content Coordinator will join our Proposal Team and be responsible for providing support to proposal operations and generating content, primarily for government solicitations. The ideal candidate needs to be highly motivated, organized, and must be able to adhere to strict deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates who want to build a career in content development, project coordination, and government solicitations.

 

The Proposal Team strives for excellence in service to our internal and external audiences. The Content Coordinator will collaborate with the Proposal Team, Marketing Team, as well as other subject matter experts, including our Executive Team, Technical Teams, and Delivery Teams, to develop content in a unified voice that showcases and effectively positions Knowledge Services.

Responsibilities

Operations

  • Review the RFx to develop a deep understanding of the opportunity to create proposal management documents and make requests to internal team members
  • Develop an overall understanding of the RFx project lifecycle in order to understand requirements, scope, and deliverables
  • Work with internal teams to ensure RFx compliance, including timeline management, deliverable execution, and overall response administration
  • Schedule and participate in RFx kick-off, progress, submission, and post-mortem meetings
    • Assists in scheduling pink team, red team, gold team, pricing, and information gathering meetings with marketing, legal, SMEs, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure SharePoint, Teams, and procurement software is maintained and organized
  • Participate in the submission of all RFx responses, ensuring all mandatory requirements are met and submission instructions are followed, including actively reviewing portals or other websites, as necessary
  • Format proposals including editing, proofreading, making global changes, and validating information for consistency

Content

  • Coordinate development of content working with writers and graphic designers
  • Assist with requests made to other departments and tracking of the requests
  • Assist with and coordinate the creation of supplements for RFx responses
  • Leverage content library and knowledge base to generate content for responses
  • Develop technical narratives that address the response plan, while incorporating win-themes and differentiators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather essential information, graphics, and data
  • Contribute copy as needed to create a robust content library; pull content and update content in responses, as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in journalism, communications, media, English, business, marketing, or related field
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft applications, including Office, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with PDF editing programs
  • Must be adept at learning new industry software or other tools
  • Must have excellent communication and strong project management skills, be both technical and analytical, and be a creative problem solver
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with short production timelines, a high sense of urgency, and independently re-prioritize, as needed
  • Strong attention to detail; must be accurate, thorough, and organized, consistently completing tasks without errors
  • Customer-focused and self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through
